DAM 2011

This project is an extensive plan for the Calumet area and the greater Chicago River watershed. It is both a master plan for a hydrological barrier that separates the Great Lakes and the Mississippi River, an intermodal facility, a fitness center and a greater trail network. It is also a specific intervention of hybrid architecture that intertwines these seemingly disparate programs into a single built form.
